I wasn’t sure what to expect from the new A Different World, but I think I’m officially hooked.

A big part of it is the nostalgia. Seeing familiar characters from the original series mixed in with this new generation gives the show a sense of comfort that I didn’t realize I missed. It feels familiar without feeling like they’re simply trying to recreate the old show.

And no, I wouldn’t call it super juicy or full of shocking moments. It’s more like comfort TV. The kind of show that gives you just enough drama, laughs and story to make you want to come back and see what happens next. Congrats to the cast it’s already in the top ten on Netflix!
